" In progress " These are just the sketches of  my art project.

In the exile, Persian carpet’s motifs are talking with me. The geometrical floral shapes of islamic art are moving and telling the story of people in Iran. Here in the United state wherever I go, they stand by me ، as the outfit of different nationalities, wether on the ground of luxurious shops, or behind the glass in museums. They remind me the beautiful  melody of unity in diversity of my country. Iran is a multiethnic and multi-religion country. In my art Series I try to communicate with those motifs to tell the Story of how different regimes in Iran have tried to destroy this “unity in diversity “ by being against this diversity. When woman are killed by police just for hijab , When people are executed for there believes or arrested forprotest or because of their mother languages or religion”bahai”. 

In Iran, we have different ethnicities such as Arab, Gilaks, turkaman , Kurds,..and Baluchis , as well as different religions , such as Islam(Sunni, Shia), Christianity, Jews, Zoroastrianism, Baha’is. This shows our nationality as a good example of “ unity in diversity”.
